Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
We are currently recruiting for an Insight Research Executive, to join our Insight, Proposition and Retail Pricing (IPRP) division, based in our Leeds office.
IPRP division ensure MPS has a real insight and understanding of the present and future needs of our members and the changing dynamics of the markets we operate in, by delivering on-going development of sales, marketing, communications and education effectiveness to achieve targets for acquisition, brand engagement, and retention.
The purpose of the role is to support the processes of planning, prioritising and driving changes to MPS member understanding through quantitative and qualitative market research projects. Support the development of insight and member and market understanding to help delivery of differentiated strategies and activity across our segments to enhance acquisition, engagement and retention (AER) and member experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing support to the Insight team in conducting the following:
•Ensure MPS understands the specific activity and requirements of markets/segments in which it operates
•Develop and disseminate member research to build a comprehensive understanding of the market, changing segment/member needs for key stakeholders and how MPS can best share and deploy its own expert knowledge in support of members.
•Distil and encourage use of insight from research projects which shape and monitor sales/go-to-market strategies, member experience and projects to achieve target revenue generation and other financial and non-financial targets.
•Co-ordinate any research activities necessary to facilitate the on-going development, maintenance and business usage of member segmentation, including the identification of lifetime value, attrition modelling, and education impact on risk management.

- Experience of / interest in market research / conducting research projects
- An understanding of healthcare, both in the UK and internationally,.
- Experience of working in a commercial environment
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
- Highly numerate with an analytical mind set.
- Strong IT skills - ability to use a variety of software to record, analyse and explain; and to provide output and deliver objectives to key stakeholders (e.g. through presentations and reports).
- Capable of building effective relationships across the organisation.
- Can demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively.
